The Cougars were visitors at Whitman, where the ghosts of a 2012 crushing playoff loss still lingered. QO jumped out to a 1-0 lead, playing clean defense and getting runners on base with ease, but a disastrous 4-error, 8-run 4th inning was more than they could overcome. The Cougars regrouped and scored 5 more runs, but fell in a 9-6 loss. Offensive highlights included an RBI triple by Sydney Maxwell and a 2-RBI triple for Leanne Youstra, and both Sydneys each had two hits on the day. Defensively, Brooke struck 8 batters out, and Megan Fisher and Sydney Zavadil each had nice catches for outs.
