After a long layoff following losses in the first two games of the season, Quince Orchard could muster only 2 hits in the first couple innings and quickly fell behind 4-0. In the top of the 4th, a combination of walks and base hits from Megan and Natalya put 3 on the board for QO, before Leanne then hit a bases-clearing double, driving in the winning runs for a 6-4 lead. Wootton answered with their final run in the bottom of the 4th, but a combination of errors and faltering pitching allowed the Cougars to post 12 insurance runs in the 6th and 7th innings. Offensive highlights included Megan with 2 RBI on a single and 2 doubles, Natalya with 4 RBI on 3 singles and a double, and Leanne with 6 RBI, a single and a double. Brooke pitched 5 Ks on the day, and the new Sydney/Sydney middle-infield tandem accounted for 9 outs.
